As a Black Ethiopian freeski athlete, I'm breaking down barriers and creating pathways for underrepresented youth to see themselves in sports where they've been overlooked. My goal is to inspire the next generation of diverse athletes with the confidence to claim their space in any sport they love, proving that talent has no boundaries and dreams have no limits. "

Bogale's Story
A passionate freeski athlete, Bo is committed to excellence in competition and film, showcasing the beauty of the sport while training in Park City, Utah. His dedication to representing Ethiopia on the Olympic stage in 2026 fuels his journey.
Bogale was born in the Wolaita region of Ethiopia. He was adopted at age 3 and began his skiing journey in the mountains of Maine. Bogale's name means "lightning" in his native language.

Upcoming Talent
Bogale's mission extends far beyond the ski slopes. Bogale traveled back to Ethiopia in October 2025 to visit with his birth family and tour the country. He brought donations of skateboards and swag from Woodward and Armada to underpriviliged youth in the skate community. Bogale is partnering with other Ethiopian organizations in 2026, stay tuned......
